The arrival of the Razr 2022 is only a few days away, with the device due on August 2. In the meantime, Motorola has shared teasers of what people will be able to do with the device's secondary or cover display. With a larger secondary display than its predecessor, the Razr 2022 should be useable without unfolding it in many situations.

According to a developer, Android 13 Beta contains numerous references to what could be the Pixel 7 Ultra, Pixel Fold and the Pixel Tablet. While the Pixel 7 Ultra and Pixel Fold may share the Samsung ISOCELL GN1 camera sensor, the Pixel Tablet will rely on the front-facing sensor from a Pixel 6 for both its cameras.

Motorola now has less than a week from today (July 27, 2022) before the launch of its latest foldable smartphone. However, it seems the OEM could not wait until then to reveal that the upcoming Razr will indeed step up to a top-end Qualcomm processor. An executive insists that its battery capacity, while still falling below typical smartphone levels, will be enough to keep the new clamshell's main display on all day.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 remains about two weeks away from launching. However, the foldable smartphone can already be seen in official press photos, courtesy of @OnLeaks. So far, press photos of four colours have leaked, which detail the Galaxy Z Flip4 from all sides.

These solutions will be used for the cover / secondary displays due to low energy requirements, but the main foldable displays will continue to be OLED-based.

TCL CSOT brought its latest developments in display technology to preview at the Society for Information Display's (SID) San Jose, California expo. They include a new "360-degree" panel for foldable devices, a new "Real RGB" solution for new virtual reality (VR) products, and an 8K inkjet-printed OLED of unprecedented size. The OEM also announced its new 34-inch curved mini-LED display aimed at professional gamers.
