If you're a gamer or content creator on a tight budget, then the GTX 1660 Ti or RTX 3050 are going to be two common options on many laptops. The RTX 3050 becomes an easier sell for accelerating graphics editing software as its gaming performance is just passable at best.

Acer has presented the Predator Triton 17 X, a high-end laptop designed for gamers and creators alike. Powering Acer's new laptop is the Intel Core i9-13900HX, as well as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. Acer includes 64 GB of RAM and 4 TB of storage too, within the machine's unibody housing.

The Acer Predator Orion X is now official with up to an Intel Core i9-13900KS, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090, 64 GB DDR5 RAM and 2 TB storage. It will be available in September 2023, starting at €2,499 (US$2,742).

The Neo version of the Acer Predator Helios 16 features up to an Intel i7-13700HX CPU, up to 32 GB DDR5-4800 RAM and up to 2 TB NVMe SSD storage in RAID 0. Acer provides RTX 4050 / 4060 / 4070 dGPU options, as well as two IPS screen options with 1600p and 1200p resolution.

New for the 2023 Triton models is a Mini-LED display option with 2,560 x 1,600 resolution and 250 Hz refresh rate. Portable AI accelerators could bring easy AI development to the masses if Adlink figures out a decent price. Adlink's Pocket AI portable accelerator is powered by Nvidia's RTX A500 professional GPU that is about as fast as an RTX 3050 laptop GPU and comes with 4 GB GDDR6 VRAM. This setup could represent a decent introduction to AI for beginners, but Adlink should consider more powerful options, if the concept indeed sees demand.

The launch of the RTX 4060 and the RTX 4060 Ti could soon be upon us as Wccftech reports that the cards will see the light of day in a couple of months.
