Deal | HP Victus gaming laptop with i5-13500H and RTX 4060 discounted to US$1,230

Thanks to a US$200 discount applied with the Memorial Day deals, HP is now selling one of the most affordable RTX 4060 laptops out there. Unlike previously mentioned deals, the Victus gaming laptop from HP comes with a larger 16.1-inch screen.

For the US$1,230 configuration, HP is including the Intel i5-13500H with 12 hybrid cores and 16 threads, which is coupled with 16 GB of DDR5-5200 RAM (upgradable) and 512 GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage. The 16.1-inch display comes with a 1080p IPS panel and 144 Hz refresh rate, yet the peak brightness is limited to 250 nits. The RTX 4060 dGPU appears to have a 120 W TGP.

Port selection is packed with 3x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, an HDMI 2.1 video output, GbE jack, and an audio combo jack. Wireless connectivity is ensured via an Intel Wi-Fi 6E + BT 5.3 card.

Thanks to its larger form-factor, this laptop comes with a full-size RGB keyboard and also integrates the Tempest Cooling system from the more expensive Omen models. The Mica Silver chassis is fairly slim at 0.93 inches and weighs ~5.4 lbs.
