By now, it is pretty clear that AMD and NVIDIA are gearing up to release cheaper next-gen GPUs soon. We reported late last month that the RX 7600 is expected to be available for sale starting May 25 with reviews of the card going live a day earlier. Similarly, VideoCardz leaked a few days ago that the RTX 4060 Ti will go on sale at the end of this month. Now, courtesy of an EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) listing spotted by @harukaze5719, it seems both the RX 7600 and the RTX 4060 Ti are indeed just around the corner.
The slew of cards that show up on EEC's website are all Gigabyte models. Interestingly, there are only two RX 7600 boards, the Gigabyte Radeon RX 7600 8GB Gaming/Gaming OC, while there are nine RTX 4060 Ti models including the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 Ti AERO/OC, AORUS Extreme, Gaming/OC, WindForce/OC, and Eagle/OC.
While the EEC listing doesn’t provide any more details, it does confirm that both the RX 7600 and the RTX 4060 Ti, which are said to be using Navi 33 and AD106 GPUs respectively, feature 8 GB of VRAM. The presence of 8 GB of memory could be a big disappointment for some. Modern PC games are using increasingly more memory and 8 GB may soon become insufficient even for 1080p gaming as shown by the launch of The Last of Us on PC.
All we have to do now is wait and see what the RX 7600 and the RTX 4060 Ti bring to the table when they launch, presumably, this month.
