Xiaomi has expanded the colour options in which it sells the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Previously, Xiaomi sold its premier smartphone in muted options, but the Xiaomi 13 Ultra Limited Edition rectifies this with Cabernet Orange, Ginkgo Yellow and Starry Sky Blue colourways.

Xiaomi has announced a Xiaomi 13 Ultra refresh, barely two weeks after showcasing the smartphone in China. As the company's images show, it has given people a choice of more striking colour options than those that are available for the regular Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Seemingly, these new colours are another nod to Xiaomi and Leica's collaboration, with the latter already offering numerous customisation options for its M series cameras.

According to Xiaomi, the new Cabernet Orange, Ginkgo Yellow and Starry Sky Blue form the Xiaomi 13 Ultra Limited Edition. However, there are no functional differences between the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and its Limited Edition counterpart. Not only do both models feature identical hardware, but Xiaomi also equips the Xiaomi 13 Ultra Limited Edition with vegan leather backs. Arguably, the Limited Edition has even fewer options than the regular Xiaomi 13 Ultra, with a sole 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage option. All Limited Edition colours ship with black frames too, unlike their regular counterparts.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra Limited Edition retails for CNY 6,499 (~US$940) in China, price-matching the regular Xiaomi 13 Ultra. For now, it appears that these three limited edition colourways will be Chinese exclusives, as is the case with equivalents for the Xiaomi 13. Potentially third-party retailers may offer the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in Cabernet Orange, Ginkgo Yellow and Starry Sky Blue, although likely for a surcharge over the device's regular black, green and white options. Currently, Xiaomi has only confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be available in 'various international markets' within 'the next few months'.
