POCO reveals 11 smartphones will receive MIUI 14 globally this quarter
POCO has now revealed new details about the rollout of MIUI 14 for more of its smartphones. Previously, the company announced which devices would receive Android 13 as part of an MIUI 14 upgrade. However, Xiaomi bases MIUI 14 on Android 12 and Android 13, allowing subsidiaries like POCO to deliver MIUI 14 to old devices.
In March, POCO confirmed that it would upgrade 18 smartphones to MIUI 14 between Q2 and Q3 2023. Now, the company has outlined that 11 devices are due MIUI 14 as part of its Q2 2023 rollout. Seemingly, the new list applies globally, with its earlier list specific to India. As a result, the POCO C55 and POCO F3 GT are missing from the 11 devices shown below owing to their Indian exclusivity.
Thus, POCO has expanded Q2 2023 eligibility by another 7 devices, which span the POCO F, POCO M and POCO X series. The list of POCO devices that should receive MIUI 14 globally by the end of June can be found below. Please note that it could take long for POCO to deliver MIUI 14 in some regions than others. Also, POCO states that it will add other devices to future release plans, although it has not confirmed when these will be confirmed.
