Xiaomi 14 Ultra tipped to launch with vanilla 14 charging speeds
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra - a supposed "Venti" model of its new flagship smartphone line - is not likely to launch until 2024. Nevertheless, its charging specs are already out there, according to the leaker Digital Chat Station. The new leak hints that anyone hoping for a power tech upgrade to go with the device's 1-inch camera sensor update will be disappointed.
In other words, Xiaomi is now believed to go with 90W charging via USB type-C for the 14 Ultra - again. That lack of delta between it and the 13 Ultra might not look too shabby...were it not for the fact that the vanilla 14 now boasts the same spec - as, indeed, does the new Redmi K70E.
Then again, the affordable K70E does not get Xiaomi's 50W wireless charging, as with the 14 - and also the 14 Ultra, going by Digital Chat Station's new tip. In addition, the upcoming device is slated to have a battery larger than that of either the 14, 14 Pro or 13 Ultra, at a typical capacity of around 5,180mAh.
