NVIDIA is on the verge of launching the RTX 4060 Ti series, consisting of 8 GB and 16 GB VRAM variants. While US$100 will separate the pair, they will feature the same GPU, memory subsystem and TGP.

VideoCardz has shared more details about the forthcoming GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, building on information it revealed earlier this week. As expected, NVIDIA will offer the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti in 8 GB and 16 GB VRAM variants, both with 22 TFLOPs of theoretical performance (FP32). In comparison, the RTX 2060 SUPER and RTX 3060 Ti delivered 7 TFLOPs and 16 TFLOPs, respectively.

Contrary to earlier rumours, the 16 GB version of the RTX 4060 Ti will not feature a higher TGP than its 8 GB sibling. Instead, both graphics cards will peak at 160 W, 40 W lower than the RTX 3060 Ti. Additionally, all RTX 4060 Ti variants will rely on GDDR6 VRAM operating on a 128-bit bus at 18 Gbps. Hence, the RTX 4060 Ti will deliver 288 GB/s memory bandwidth.

The RTX 4060 Ti series will start on May 24 with its 8 GB VRAM variant. By contrast, the 16 GB version is not tipped to arrive until July, possibly alongside the RTX 4060. As the slide below shows, NVIDIA will launch the RTX 4060 Ti for US$399 with 8 GB of VRAM, US$200 less than the RTX 4070 and US$400 less than the RTX 4070 Ti. In comparison, the 16 GB variant will be available for US$499, equidistant between the cheaper RTX 4060 Ti and the more performant RTX 4070.
