Nvidia GTX 1170 preliminary specs and performance get leaked

The GTX 1170 GPU is supposed to be powered by the same GT104 Turing 12 nm chip as GTX 1180, but it will come with lower specs that include ~1.5 GHz base clocks (1.8 GHz boost clocks), reduced CUDA core and TMU count, and slower GDDR6 VRAM. This means that the TDP could go as low as 140 W, which can make it a good target for crypto miners.

5.7% of Android users now on Oreo, data shows

Google Play analytics for the month of May have been released. Going by the data, the percentage of users on Oreo has grown to 5.7%, nine months after the version of the OS was released. Quite surprisingly, the Nougat user base also saw slight growth.

HTC's trip down the spiral continues as company records 55% drop in revenue

HTC's latest revenue figures show the company falling deeper into a pit of bad sales numbers. Revenue for April spelled a 55% year-on-year decline, which is impressive considering how bad 2017 already was for the company—sales-wise.

Voice shopping could be worth US$40 billion by 2022

A press release from a strategy consulting firm has stated that voice-based shopping will enjoy incredible growth over the next four years, hitting a total of more than US$40 billion in sales across the US and UK by 2022. The market forecast, issued by OC&C, highlights how the increasing adoption of smart speakers in millions of homes will help drive growth.
