A possible Redmi Note 9 5G leaks onto Geekbench ahead of its launch

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 9 5G series will launch on November 26, 2020. Prior to this, however, a new device from this OEM thought to be the new line's base model has appeared on Geekbench. It seems to have the phone's rumored Dimensity 800U chipset, and competes effectively with what will probably be a prime rival found on the same database.

iOS 15 will probably not be headed to the original iPhone SE or the iPhone 6s series

Apple continues to lead the way with its excellent software support for older smartphones, unlike many Android OEMs. Ultimately, even Apple has a point where it drops iPhones from future iOS releases, and it seems like the iPhone 6s series will be on the chopping block as of iOS 15. The same will probably apply for the original iPhone SE, too.

Overclocking the new Ryzen 5000 desktop CPUs seems to be easier through undervolting methods. (Image Source: UserBenchmark)

16-core Ryzen 9 5950X overclocked to 4.7 GHz on all cores @1.12V outperforms 32-core Threadripper 2990WX in Cinebench R23

Instead of using the potentially more harmful method involving raised voltages, the latest Ryzen 5000 desktop CPUs make it easier for users to obtain impressive overclocking results through undervolting. This way, users do not need sophisticated cooling solutions, and can just utilize regular AIOs. However, there is greater variance between samples, as well, so it all is more dependent on the luck of the draw.
