Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 9 5G series will launch on November 26, 2020. Prior to this, however, a new device from this OEM thought to be the new line's base model has appeared on Geekbench. It seems to have the phone's rumored Dimensity 800U chipset, and competes effectively with what will probably be a prime rival found on the same database.

Motorola has unveiled its latest budget smartphone, the Moto E7. The company's latest device offers a modern design with a 48 MP dual camera, a 6.5-inch IPS display, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The Moto E7 will arrive next month in Europe for just €110.

AMD may have an answer to the RTX 3060 Ti, along with other budget cards from NVIDIA. Apparently, AMD is gearing to release the RX 6700 and RX 6700 XT, which will both use its Navi 22 GPUs. The cards will have 12 GB of GDDR6 VRAM too and may arrive as early as January 2021.

Gigabyte has finally taken the lid off its new AORUS Gaming Boxes, confirming that they will feature NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090. 1440p could soon become the standard resolution for gaming laptops and Eluktronics is already offering a few models integrating the new 1440p@165 Hz panels from BOE. These are only $50 more expensive to produce than the usual 1080p displays and offer 78% more screen real estate with low latency and good color gamut. As downsides, most notable are the requirement for powerful mobile GPUs like the Nvidia RTX 2070 and the sub-par scaling for lower resolutions.

Huawei has outlined its EMUI 11 upgrade plans in nine regions. Only nineteen devices will be eligible to receive EMUI 11, but most must wait until a vague Q1 2021 before Huawei's latest OS arrives. There is no word on Android 11 availability, either.
