Bitcoin continues its fast road uphill with a new peak reached in a day that started with a low value of around US$18,000. However, everything went smoothly and in just a few hours the well-known cryptocurrency had managed to hit a new milestone by climbing all the way up to a value of US$19,287.54.

With six full days left until December will finally arrive, it has become highly likely that we will see Bitcoin reach at least US$20,000 by the end of the month. However, today was a very interesting day not only due to the highest value of the year reached by the world's most popular cryptocurrency, but also due to the over US$1,100 jump that took place in just a few hours.

This morning, at 8:10, Bitcoin was trading for US$18,091.64. At 11:35, it was at US$18,952.91. After a few bumps, it managed to reach the US$19,000 barrier around 14:00. The highest value of the day and also of the entire year was reached at 15:35, when those interested to buy Bitcoin had to shell out no less than US$19,287.54.

The figures mentioned above translate into an impressive jump of US$1,195.9 but also shows the high volatility of this market. After today's evolution, a maximum value of US$25,000 next month or even more no longer seems outrageous. Would you bet on Bitcoin reaching US$30,000 before the end of the year? Is US$25,000 a safe bet or not? As usual, feel free to hit the comments section and share your crypto investment tips with the world.
