Consistent. Medion's QHD gaming laptop offers respectable performance (Core i7-13700HX, GeForce RTX 4060), good features (16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, 240-Hz panel, Thunderbolt 4) and decent runtimes. A "silent mode" makes quiet gaming possible.

Tight 130 W USB-C power budget. The XPS 17 is one of the few laptops to offer GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4080 graphics options powered solely by a USB-C adapter. There are a few comprises for sure much like on previous models, but this latest iteration is as optimized as ever.

Triple A. The VivoBook doesn't exactly come with the newest hardware (Alder Lake, Ampere), but it does score points for other reasons: The Asus laptop has a bright 16-inch screen (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) in 16:10 format which has a high refresh rate (120 Hz) and great color space coverage (DCI-P3).

Galaxy Book Air. Low weight (approx. 1.2 kg), compact size and an AMOLED screen in a work-friendly 16:10 format (2,880 x 1,800) characterize Samsung's 14-incher. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports and very good battery life also add to the notebook's appeal.

Delicate Gram. A low weight of about 1.35 kg (~2.98 lb), an excellent battery life, and a matte 17-inch display (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) in the 16:10 format represent the highlights of the LG Gram 17. They are accompanied by two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a good keyboard.

Gaming ultrabook. Lenovo is offering its new Yoga Pro 7 14 with the GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU and a matte 3K display with 120 Hz and P3 color space coverage. This turns the compact 14-inch device into a powerful multimedia device that can also run the latest games.

Imbalanced. Despite the 16-inch format, the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 16 can be considered a mobile laptop because of its compact size, low weight, and very good battery life. In addition, it offers an AMOLED display in the work-friendly 16:10 format (2,880 x 1,800 pixels) and a powerful Core i5 processor.

NUC but quiet! The Geekom Mini IT12 is an interesting alternative to the well-known Intel NUC models. The Taiwanese manufacturer has chosen a mobile Intel Alder Lake SoC. In this review, we took a closer look at what this mini PC can deliver, and whether it can live up to the class leader, Intel. Thanks to its Thunderbolt port, we were also able to take a look at its gaming performance using an external GPU.

Slimmer isn't always better. Asus has completely reworked last year's Zenbook S13 OLED, and the new 2023 model has now become lighter and also slimmer. In addition, Asus has replaced the AMD chip with an Intel Raptor Lake processor, but that isn't really an advantage. In everyday operation, the two fans are also a problem.

The golden mean? Samsung attempts to balance performance, mobility, power consumption and noise emissions in the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra 16 - and does well as a result. The Core i7-13700H and GeForce RTX 4050 deliver plenty of performance for gaming and rendering, even at reduced power.

The last samurai. The Lenovo ThinkPad P15v Gen 3 will be the final ThinkPad with the classic 1.8 mm keyboard. It's also the first workstation model in the ThinkPad series with the AMD Ryzen 6000H series - the mixture of old and new in this relatively inexpensive ThinkPad workstation is exciting.

Expensive office laptop. Microsoft have updated the Surface Laptop 5 with Alder Lake processors and Thunderbolt 4 - but the rest of the device has remained the same. Neither performance nor features can make up for the laptop's premium price.

Upgraded. Medion's heavily equipped gaming notebook offers a large 16-inch screen (QHD+, 240 Hz, G-Sync) in 16:10 format, a mechanical keyboard, 32 GB of RAM and a whopping 2 TB of storage space. A Core i9-13900HX and a GeForce RTX 4070 drive the powerful computing behemoth.

Dynamic AMOLED2X The Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 actually beats our measurement hardware with its lighting-fast display. The same cannot be said for the Intel Core i5-1340P. This is the Raptor Lake processor's debut at Notebookcheck and it hast left us ... unimpressed.

RTX 4070 and 165 Hz. Asus increases the performance of its gaming convertible ROG Flow Z13 and equips the ACRNM special edition with a Core i9-13900H and the new GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop. This means the 13-inch convertible can also handle modern games like Cyberpunk 2077 in the native WQHD resolution.

Intel's product refresh. Intel’s Raptor Lake has already superseded Alder Lake in the company's desktop CPU line-up, offering more performance across the board. Raptor Lake mobile CPUs are now following suit, and Intel is also updating its mini-PC range. We took an in-depth look at the latest Arena Canyon NUC featuring a Core i7-1360P. A success. With the right settings, the Aorus 15X allows for gaming with low noise emissions - despite its powerful hardware. Additionally, the laptop features three video outputs, Thunderbolt 4 and great runtimes.

Business class. The Acer TravelMate scores with a strong Alder Lake CPU, moderate emissions, and good battery runtimes. A large 16-inch screen in a work-friendly 16:10 format (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) and a three-year warranty round off the overall package.

High-end gamer. A Core i9-13900HX and GeForce RTX 4080 provide sufficient performance for video processing, rendering, and QHD gaming. The keyboard of the laptop also offers individual key illumination, six macro keys, and a lot of space for the arrow keys.
