Realme has announced that its highest-end smartphone of 2024 thus far will debut with the OEM's cutting-edge Sky Communication System for enhanced wireless connectivity even in typical dead zones for signal. The GT6 will also seemingly rock the OEM's latest design that incorporates an ultra-slim metallic mid-frame and an advanced lunar crater effect in a special edition.

The high-quality OLED display comes with 2880 x 1800 resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, variable refresh rate and 500 nit HDR brightness. Other specs include 16 GB LPDDR5-6400 RAM, 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, Thunderbolt 4 port and Wi-Fi 7 + BT 5.4.

NETGEAR has announced the Nighthawk RS300 Wi-Fi 7 router as a cheaper alternative to the far more expensive RS700S. Unlike the RS700S, however, the RS300 lacks 10 gig networking, and instead settles for a mix of 2.5 gig and 1 gig ports.

Other outstanding features that are rarely seen at this price point include 32 GB LPDDR5-6400 RAM, 5 MP webcam, microSD card reader, fingerprint sensor and dual Thunderbolt 4 ports. This version, however, features an IPS touchscreen instead of an OLED.

The Asus ProArt lineup is getting its first taste of ARM goodness with the new ProArt PZ13 detachable Copilot+ PC. The PZ13 emphasizes on portability with its ultra-slim 9 mm thickness and 0.85 kg weight.

Asus is introducing a convertible ProArt at Computex 2024, the ProArt PX13. The new ProArt PX13 is a Copilot+ PC with a Pantone-validated 3K OLED panel and is powered by AMD's new Ryzen AI 300 Strix Point APUs and dGPU options up to the RTX 4070.

Asus is launching an AMD Ryzen AI 300 Strix Point Zen 5 powered ProArt P16 at Computex 2024. The new ProArt P16 is a Copilot+ PC focused on AI workflows with 50 TOPS performance from the AMD Ryzen AI 300 NPU alone while continuing to offer ProArt goodies such as the 4K OLED touchscreen and an Asus DialPad built into the touchpad.

Lenovo has unveiled a new Snapdragon X Elite-powered thin-and-light laptop. The Yoga Slim 7x 14 Gen 9 comes with a 3K 90 Hz OLED panel and a 79 Wh battery, along with 32 GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB storage.

Dell has presented the new XPS 13 9340, a super compact laptop—in everyday use, however, the new design requires a few compromises to be made. The manufacturer has brought on some unnecessary issues in the shape of its capacitive touchbar, in particular. Furthermore, the base display has massively failed to produce the brightness which is advertized.

With the Spectre x360 series, HP has been offering high-quality convertibles for private customers for years. With the new Spectre x360 14, you'll get a new 120-Hz OLED panel in a new case that is convincing particularly with its quality, the cooling, and the new haptic touchpad. However, the Meteor Lake processor still has some problems with the graphics driver.

MSI's Titan 18 HX is now official with top-of-the-line that is typical of the Titan lineup. The Titan 18 HX boasts the world's first 18-inch 4K 120 Hz mini-LED display, the Core i9-14900HX, which MSI says can sustain at 5.2 GHz all P-core, and a choice of 175 W RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 Laptop GPUs.

The refreshed Z17 HX is powered by up to an Intel Core i9 14900HX CPU complemented by up to 64 GB DDR5 RAM and a PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD. Highlights also include a 17-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS touchscreen with MSI Pen 2 support, dual Thunderbolt 4 connectors, Wi-Fi 7 and the new SD Express card reader.

The Studio and Evo variants share the same chassis and most of the features. However, the Studio variant is slightly heavier as it can be equipped with up to an RTX 4070 dGPu from Nvidia, while the Evo one only relies on the integrated Intel Arc from the Meteor Lake processors.

18-inch laptops are seeing increased adoption and MSI is now adding such a model to the Creator lineup among others. It also supports up to 128 GB DDR5 RAM and comes with Nvidia RTX 3500 / 5000 Ada generation professional GPUs.

The most advanced AI laptops from the Creator lineup come with 16-inch 4K screens, intel Core Ultra 7 or 9 processors, up to an RTX 4090 dGPU, Wi-Fi 7 and solid security features including a fingerprint sensor, all in a lightweight chassis.

The next WLAN standard is ready. 802.11be brings a wider 6 GHz band, multilink operation and other functions to increase bandwidth. The first certified Wi-Fi routers will also be announced at CES 2024.

Alongside the Omen Transcend 14, HP is also offering a refreshed Omen Transcend 16 with Intel Raptor Lake-HX Refresh processors including the Core i7-14700HX and Core i9-14900HX. This year's Omen Transcend 16 drops the mini-LED option and instead offers a QHD+ 240 Hz OLED as the top configuration.

HP is introducing the Omen Transcend 14 at CES 2024, pitching it as the world's coolest and lightest 14-inch gaming laptop. The Omen Transcend 14 features an IMAX-enhanced 2.8K 120 Hz OLED display and offers up to Core Ultra 9 185H and RTX 4070 options. Buyers can also optionally configure the Transcend 14 with Wi-Fi 7 networking.

Dell is bidding goodbye to the iconic XPS 15 lineup, making way for the new XPS 16 9640. The XPS 16 9640 continues the same design language as the newly launched XPS 13 and XPS 14. Buyers can customize the XPS 16 with 45 W Intel Meteor Lake CPUs, up to a 60 W Nvidia RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, an optional 4K+ OLED panel, and reap benefits of Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Dell is consolidating its XPS 13 Plus and XPS 13 lineups into the XPS 13 9340. The new XPS 13 9340 is lighter than its predecessors, and now comes with a 3K+ OLED display option. Buyers can select from Intel Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 Meteor Lake processors. Also in the offing are a 1080p webcam and Wi-Fi 7 networking.

Wi-Fi 7, aka 802.11be, is still under development. But its completion is within reach. In a few months, the first devices are likely be certified and the exciting question about existing hardware is expected to be clarified.

Banana Pi is now selling the BPI-R4, a 148 x 100.5 mm single-board computer designed as a router board. Sporting numerous LAN and WAN connections, the Banana Pi BPI-R4 also has three Nano SIM card slots and supports 5G, as well as the modern WiFi 7 standard.

HP has accidentally listed its upcoming Spectre x360 laptop ahead of time. It comes in two flavours, Intel Core i7-155H and Intel Core i5-125H, and offers next-gen features such as Wi-Fi 7.
