Alderon Games, one of the developers that flagged the instability issues of 14th and 13th-gen Raptor Lake desktop chips, says they're experiencing similar issues on HX-branded laptop chips. An Intel spokesperson insists its laptop chips are fine and attribute the crashes to hardware/software problems.

RedMagic Titan 16 Pro made its official debut yesterday. It's the first gaming laptop from the brand, and it comes with an Intel Core i9 processor that can be paired with Nvidia RTX 4060 or RTX 4070. The starting price in China is CNY 10,499 (about $1,444).

The Lenovo ThinkCentre Neo Ultra is a new mini PC that stands as a competitor to the Apple Mac Studio. It is available with up to Intel Core i9 14900 and Nvidia RTX 4060. The base model, on the other hand, comes with Intel Core i5 14500, and the starting price is AUD 3,299 (about $2,211).

The launch of Intel's next-generation gaming graphics cards is getting closer. Two new leaks reveal that Intel is working on three new GPUs equipped with up to 56 Xe2 cores. The new Xe2 architecture will soon be launched as part of Intel Lunar Lake.

Intel's Lunar Lake lineup will consist of nine CPUs. The flagship model is called Core Ultra 9 288V, followed by the Core Ultra 7 268V and Core Ultra 7 266V, Core Ultra 5 238V and Core Ultra 5 236V, with four more models in between. They all feature a 4+4 CPU, an Intel Xe2 Battlemage GPU and LPDDR5X 8,533 memory.

Asus has quietly launched Chromebox 5a, a minor refresh to the Chromebox 5 that the company launched last year. The mini PC packs Intel 13th gen processors, with the top-end model featuring Core i7 1355U. It starts at $294, which is a little lower than what last year's model started at.

GPD has refreshed one of its older mini laptops. For some reason, the company has decided to upgrade its entry-level Pocket 3, which is now available with faster RAM, a better processor and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, among other upgrades.

Intel's Arrow Lake laptops are rumoured for a mid-to-late September launch. Some Arrow Lake chips and high-end Z890 motherboards are expected to follow suit in October.
