Qualcomm has revamped its handheld gaming console SoC offering with the new Snapdragon G Series. The Snapdragon G Series is now comprised of three tiers — the G1 Gen 1, G2 Gen 1, and the G3x Gen 2, which is an upgrade over last year's G3x Gen 1 used in the Razer Edge 5G. According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon G3x Gen 2's 8-core Kryo CPU offers a 30% performance gain while the Adreno A32 GPU offers a 2x improvement over the previous generation.

Samsung has finally released the Odyssey Neo G9 G95NC, a 57-inch gaming monitor that it announced in January 2023. The Odyssey Neo G9 G95NC is already available to order in Europe and the UK, where it retails for €2,499 and £2,199, respectively. Sony has announced a new product launch happening on August 29, 2023. On that date, Sony will likely launch its A7C II and A7C R compact mirrorless cameras, in addition to a new lens to go along with the compact bodies.

SK Hynix has announced that it is ready to sample its latest form of high bandwidth memory (or HBM), pitched at advanced applications such as research or AI, to its customers. HBM3E is rated to keep up to 10% cooler thanks to the new production technique used to make it. It is also compatible with systems already set up to use the preceding HBM3.

OneOdio has made an addition to the growing list of alternatives to in-ear wireless audio with the new OpenRock S buds. The Legion 9i will serve as a new flagship gaming laptop for Lenovo when it lands later this year. OnePlus has officially presented the Ace 2 Pro, its latest 'flagship killer'. Arriving a day after the Redmi K60 Ultra, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro combines a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 24 GB of RAM, as well as a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 150 W charging. OnePlus has bundled plenty of other features too, including a 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor as the device's primary camera.

Tesla seems to be applying its heated seat hardware approach to its base Model S and Model X vehicles. While the new Tesla Model S and X Standard Range trims are in the order of US$10,000 cheaper, they also ship with exactly the same battery hardware, with nothing more than a software lock limiting range.

Xiaomi has now debuted the Redmi Pad SE globally—in Europe and other markets outside China—as an affordable, budget tablet in stark contrast to the premium Xiaomi Pad 6 Max that was launched yesterday in China. Xiaomi has announced the Redmi K60 Ultra in China. Among other things, it packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 120 Watt fast charging, a 50 MP Sony IMX800 sensor with OIS, and IP68 water/dust resistance. It can be purchased in China starting at RMB 2,599 (US$258) on August 22.

The Smart Band 8 Pro is Xiaomi's latest smartwatch, and one that it equips with a 1.74-inch AMOLED display. The Smart Band 8 Pro also supports location services, NFC payments and has a display that delivers 600 nits peak brightness, all for CNY 399 (~US$55).

Xiaomi has officially announced the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, a 10,000 mAh battery (67 W fast charging) and supports up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. For now, it is available only in China.
