Samsung has patented a method for determining how many calories have been consumed using a spectroscope. Theoretically, the patent will allow future Galaxy Watch smartwatches to automatically calculate the amount of calories a wearer consumes, which escapes the Galaxy Watch5 series.

According to leakers, Samsung has improved the ruggedness of its foldables with its fifth-generation models. While Motorola has certified its new flagship foldable as IP52 certified, Samsung is expected to go even further with this summer's Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold5.
