Intel Core i7-5775C

The Intel Core i7-5775C is a high-end quad-core desktop processor based on the Broadwell architecture. It was announced in June 2015 and offers 4 cores at 3.3 to 3.7 GHz (Turbo Boost). Thanks to Hyperthreading 8 threads can be worked on in parallel.
The speciality of the i7-5775C is the 128 MB eDRAM cache on the chip that works as a L4 cache for the CPU and integrated graphics card (Iris Pro Graphics 6200 GT3e, see for more details and benchmarks). The GPU offers 48 EUs (execution units) clocked at 300 to 1150 MHz. Thanks to the eDRAM it is similar fast to a dedicated GeForce 940M.
Rated at a TDP of 65 Watt the Core i7 is suited for Desktop PCs and very large desktop replacement laptops (like the Clevo P770ZM).
