For now, only select mobile-grade processors will feature the AI XDNA IPUs. AMD is considering IPUs for desktop and server CPUs some time in the next three years, not before software support sees clear expansion.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 is now going for US$650 off at Best Buy for the Ryzen 9 6900HS and Radeon RX 6800S configuration. The laptop is highly rated with an average rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars on Best Buy and for good reason, as it is both portable and powerful.

A new leak says that the Zen 5-based Ryzen 8000 series of desktop processors will max out at 16 cores. Their max TDP and L1/L2/L3 caches will also be identical to their Zen 4 counterparts. AMD could launch them sometime in H2 2024 or early 2025.

ASUS is now selling the ROG Ally, its first gaming handheld. For now, the ROG Ally only comes in its most expensive Ryzen Z1 Extreme trim. A Ryzen Z1 model is on its way, but not until Q3 2023 at the earliest.

GPD is now offering its G1, which it claims is the world's smallest eGPU. The GPD G1 relies on the AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT with OcuLink and USB4 ports for connecting compatible devices.

GPD is now taking orders for a 2023 refresh of the Win Max 2. As expected, the Win Max 2 2023 features AMD Phoenix APUs, faster RAM and an OcuLink port for connecting eGPUs. Prices start at US$799 or US$1,049 for Ryzen 7 7840U models.

The teaser image shows two USB4 ports and Chinese sources suggest that the UM780 model is powered by the R9 7840HS APU, while the UM790 Pro packs the R9 7940HS, both integrating the powerful Radeon 780M GPU with 12 RDNA 3 CUs.

AYN Technologies has revised plans for its LOKI gaming handheld series. Previously, the company hoped to deliver seven models consisting of two Intel SKUs and five AMD options. However, the company claims that limited demand has forced it to abandon three SKUs, including all Intel models.

Framework, the company known for making highly modular laptops, has announced that the company’s Laptop 13 can now be equipped with the Ryzen 7040U APUs. The APUs feature a Zen 4 CPU and an RDNA 3 Radeon 760M/780M iGPU with 8/12 CUs.

A trio of fearsome AMD Dragon Range laptops have appeared on a Chinese retailer, coming courtesy of the manufacturer MECHREVO. The Jiaolong 16 Pro gaming laptops feature either an AMD Ryzen 9 7845HX processor or a Ryzen 9 7945HX part and either a GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU or the RTX 4070 Laptop variant. Prices start from the equivalent of around US$1,084.

AYA NEO has announced that it intends to upgrade some of its gaming handhelds to the Ryzen 7 7480U, one of AMD's Zen 4 and RDNA 3-based APUs. The company has promised to offer speaker and heat sink upgrades for other models.

According to serial leaker Moore’s Law Is Dead, AMD is finally releasing the company’s first budget RDNA 3 GPU, the RX 7600, in late May. Interestingly, Team Red has allegedly set two review dates for the GPU depending upon the price.

If you really want a Ryzen 7000 series laptop, then you'll want to find one with the Ryzen 7 7840H or Ryzen 9 7945HX. The lower-end to midrange options offer very little over the mobile Ryzen 6000 series at best.

AYA NEO has announced another pair of gaming handhelds. Billed as the AYA NEO 2S and the AYA NEO GEEK 1S, the pair will rely on new AMD Ryzen 7000 APUs with RDNA 3 iGPUs. The company has also outlined release and shipment details for both devices.

After the release of the RTX 4070, the wait is on for AMD’s mid-range RDNA 3 GPUs. According to a recent video from RedGamingTech, the AMD RX 7800 XT and the RX 7700 XT will both be based on the Navi 32 GPU with performance to rival the RX 6950 XT and the RTX 4060 Ti respectively.

GEEKOM has announced that it has collaborated with Asus on its latest mini-PC. The AS 6 is backed to "outshine" Intel's NUC 13 Pro with a Ryzen 9 6900HX top-end model. New information about AMD's upcoming mobile APUs have leaked online indicating significant upgrades to CPU and GPU performance. Next gen APUs include Hawk Point and Strix Point for the Premium Mobile segment, Strix Halo that is slated to take on Apple silicon with RTX 4070-class RDNA 3.5 graphics, and Fire Range, which is the purported successor to Dragon Range.
