AYANEO has now released the AM02, its second mini-PC following last year's launch of the AM01. To recap, the company revealed full AM02 specifications earlier this week, which we have covered in a separate article. In summary, the AYANEO AM02 contains the following hardware, regardless of the configuration chosen:
- 4-inch multifunction touchscreen display
- AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS APU
- DDR5 5,600 MT/s dual-channel RAM (2x SO-DIMM)
- PCIe 4.0 storage (1x M.2 2280)
- Bluetooth 5.2/Wi-Fi 6E connectivity (1x M.2 2230)
Additionally, AYANEO has equipped the AM02 with various ports, including four USB Type-A ports, a dedicated USB Type-C power input, a pair of RJ45 Ethernet connections and a Kensington lock slot. Moreover, the AM02 has a DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 video outputs, as well as a USB4 connection that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. On top of that, AYANEO cools the Ryzen 7 7840HS APU with four copper heat pipes, a laptop-style fan and heatsink fins that provide a 68,105 mm² surface area, all within a 146 x 134 x 48 mm housing.
The AYANEO AM02 is available to back now through Indiegogo, starting at $439 as a barebones unit. Please note that AYANEO is only selling 150 units at this price, after which the machine will be available from $479 through Indiegogo. As the picture below shows, the AM02 also comes in three memory configurations, peaking at 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage for $629. AYANEO hopes to begin fulfilling Indiegogo orders by the end of February 2024.
