Smartwatch

Well rested. After what seemed like eternal rest Apple has finally awoken and delivered. The new sleep tracking feature is available for older models as well while the new oxygen saturation feature depends on a new sensor only available in Apple's Series 6 Watch. Both of those are features that are already available on other models. Apple is thus playing catch up in regard to health features. Proactive. Thanks to ECG, heart rate, SpO2 and temperature sensors, Fitbit Sense currently is one of the most advanced wearables in terms of health monitoring. We have taken a close look at this smartwatch and its health functions in our review.

Crossing boundaries. In fitness and leisure sports, more and more athletes use Apple, Samsung or Huawei smartwatches. Professional athletes, on the other hand, still like to rely on sport computers from Garmin or Polar. They are becoming increasingly smarter, and the boundaries are becoming blurred. Consequently, we also draw comparisons with other smartwatches and the Polar Grit X in our test of the Garmin Forerunner 745.

The last one will be the first. With its display technology and powerful battery of an almost 600-mAh capacity, Mobvoi mainly wants to improve the weak battery life that is typical for WearOS – and it succeeds. The fact that the smartwatch uses "GPS" in its name, even though many wearables record routes at this point, is also justified: with GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS the TicWatch Pro 3 GPS is positioned very well.

A matter of opinion. Not fish, not meat - that was the conclusion of some testers on the Nubia alpha, which presented Nubia as a smartphone on the wrist. The successor Nubia Watch, on the other hand, clearly carries the species in its name. Optically it stands out clearly among many current Smartwatches. But Nubia does not get enough out of advantages like GPS and heart rate sensor and the phone interface did not pass the test.
