Mobvoi has teased the TicWatch x Arty smartwatch on social media. The post suggested that Arty brings heart health analysis technology to the device.
So far, Mobvoi has only released a teaser image of the gadget, which shows the watch as rectangular, somewhat similar to the Apple Watch. On the right-hand side of the device, you can see a rotating crown or round button and a green sensor LED.
Arty appears to be a new functionality developed by Mobvoi in partnership with AtCor Medical Inc, a cardiovascular health technology specialist. According to the tweet, Arty will provide you with “arterial and heart health insights”. Arty was mentioned in a leak from XDA developers that discovered information in the APK of version 4.3.0 of the TicWatch app.
The information released showed features such as a heart health sensor and Arty Score, which takes cardiovascular data gathered by your watch and indicates your heart health and cardiovascular risk with a value from 0 to 100.
The leak indicated that the Arty Score would use data including eCAP, a measure of how well the heart can provide oxygenated blood to cells, and TruHR, “medical-grade” heart rate measurements. You may also be able to use ArtyAge data to compare your heart health to other TicWatch users.
Mobvoi, which announced the new smartwatch on Twitter, suggested that the company will unveil the product on March 1st.
