Earlier this week, Mobvoi announced the TicWatch GTH Pro, a successor to the TicWatch GTH and one that featured some advanced health tracking features. However, it has also revealed another version of the TicWatch Pro 3, following on from last year's TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra. As Mobvoi's marketing images show, the latest TicWatch Pro 3 looks like its predecessors with their somewhat rugged design.
Billed as the TicWatch Pro 3 Sports Version, the smartwatch also relies on the Snapdragon Wear 4100 platform, Wear OS 2 and a 577 mAh battery. Likewise, Mobvoi continues to equip the smartwatch with two displays, an AMOLED panel and an FSTN LCD that sits above it to minimise power usage. Also, the TicWatch Pro 3 Sports Version has a built-in 4G and GPS modems.
As its name suggests, the Sports Version features more exercise and sports modes than other TicWatch Pro 3 smartwatches. Specifically, Mobvoi claims to have pre-installed over 100 modes on the new model, including football, rugby, skiing and table tennis, among others. Accordingly, the smartwatch contains heart rate and SpO2 sensors for monitoring your body during a workout.
Currently, Mobvoi only sells the TicWatch Pro 3 Sports Version in China. While it is unclear whether Mobvoi will release the model globally, it retails for CNY 1,999 (~US$316) on JD.com, one of China's largest retailers.
