TicWatch Pro X: Mobvoi unveils a new flagship smartwatch that resembles the upcoming TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra
Mobvoi has unveiled another new smartwatch in its TicWatch Pro series. While the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra has already leaked several times, Mobvoi managed to keep the TicWatch Pro X quiet.
However, the TicWatch Pro X and the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra may be the same device sold under different names. Based on previous leaks, the TicWatch Pro X and the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra share identical bodies, a modified version of the one that Mobvoi debuted last year with the TicWatch Pro 3.
Additionally, the TicWatch Pro X has two 1.39-inch displays, a trademark of the TicWatch Pro series. The new TicWatch Pro retains the Snapdragon Wear 4100 from the TicWatch Pro 3 too, along with its 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and LTE modem.
Mobvoi states that the TicWatch Pro X has over 20 workout modes though, in keeping with leaked TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra retail packaging. Ultimately, it seems likely that the TicWatch Pro X is the Chinese version of the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra, the only market in which the former has been announced so far.
Promotional materials imply as much, in our opinion. Last week, XDA Developers revealed that upcoming Mobvoi smartwatches would support advanced heart-monitoring features, which Mobvoi alludes to in its TicWatch Pro X listing on JD.com. The TicWatch Pro X will begin shipping later this month, so it cannot be too long before the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra makes its appearance too.
