Mobvoi introduces its latest wearables as the Earbuds ANC
Mobvoi invites its fans to turn down their distractions and turn up the fun via a pair of TWS earbuds with active noise cancellation (ANC) and a succinct new name to match. They are rated for IP5X ingress-protection, "all-day" comfort and up to 21 hours of battery life thanks to their USB type-C charging case.
Mobvoi's latest TWS wearables are of the stemmed AirPod-clone variety; however, the bud portion of each pair are unusually slim and narrow, and weigh just 5 grams (g) each. The OEM claims that this "improved ergonomic design" enables the user to wear them for longer throughout the day.
Despite this new shape, the Earbuds ANC pack 13mm drivers, although there are only 2 mics per earbuds to support their ANC feature. They also manage to accommodate touch controls for audio playback management, although there are also voice controls supported by Mobvoi's in-house Tico voice assistant.
The Earbuds ANC come in a case rated to power them back up twice over per charge, and have been left on the same Bluetooth 5.0 standard as their predecessors. Perhaps because of this, they have started at a price of US$59.99, at which they can be ordered from Mobvoi's website or on Amazon from now.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
