Elegiant C530: New smartwatch launches for US$28.99 with two watch bands and IP68 certification

The C530 is a new and comparatively inexpensive smartwatch from Elegiant. Understandably, the C530 is rather basic, which its design reflects. Additionally, Elegiant only sells the C530 in black, although it includes brown leather and black silicone watch straps in the box. Seemingly, the former has a leather inlay though and a plastic outer shell.

According to Elegiant, the C530 has a 1.3-inch touchscreen display, plus a small physical button. The company claims that it has included a heart rate monitor too; it remains to be seen how accurate this is, mind you. Moreover, Elegiant has equipped the C530 with two-dozen exercise modes and customisable watch faces. Similarly, the C530 comes with several pre-installed apps, including a weather app.

Furthermore, Elegiant claims that the C530 is IP68 certified against dust and water. Also, the smartwatch is estimated to last up to 8 days between charges from its 340 mAh battery. Currently, the Elegiant C530 is orderable on AliExpress for US$28.99. For reference, Elegiant ships the budget smartwatch from either the Czech Republic or Spain.
