240 Hz panel and plenty of performance. Schenker’s new Vision 16 Pro is a 16-inch multimedia laptop with a weight of just 1.6 kg. This does not mean it lacks performance and the 240 Hz WQHD panel is powered by the current Alder Lake Core i7-12700H as well as the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti.

Light, 1.4 kg (3 lb) gaming hybrid. The Acer Swift X 14 is a light, 1.4 kg (~3 lb) laptop with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050, a long battery life, 16:10 display, and high system performance. However, the graphics performance still crashes completely in battery operation, and even the fast SSD and crisp keyboard won't help in that case.

Despite this, the Alder Lake-P processor manages to deliver great performance and the laptop also features a 90Hz WQHD touchscreen.

The i7-1280P steals the show. Intel's Core i7-1280P makes the Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i the presumably fastest ultrabook of this time. Thanks to the 3K 90 Hz OLED display, low emissions, and high-quality quad speakers, you get a sturdy and nifty laptop.

The best Windows ultrabook!? The MateBook X Pro 2022 sports a new case with a larger display, an up-to-date Alder Lake processor from Intel and a wide range of features. The end result is very good, but the Intel Evo certified ultrabook also comes with a hefty price tag of around 2,199 Euros (~US$ 2199).

Magnesium shell and Alder Lake-P. Dynabook has equipped the Portégé X30L with Intel’s current Alder Lake processor. The magnesium case is extremely light at around 900 grams, which makes the business notebook an extremely mobile companion. However, the performance of the new processor falls short of expectations.

Look like a dragonfly, sting like a bee. The Dragonfly G3 ditches the old 16:9 form factor for a more work-appropriate 3:2 aspect ratio with plenty of display options to choose from. The CPU upgrade, however, isn't as big as we were hoping.

High performance for cheap. If you want to maximize performance while minimizing the damage done to your wallet, then the new IdeaPad Flex 5i 14 may be worthwhile. Its 12th gen Core i5 CPU runs faster than most 11th gen Core i7 options while costing hundreds of dollars less.

Still too expensive. Microsoft keeps the compact Surface Laptop Go, equipping the second generation with Intel's Tiger Lake CPUs. While the performance is sufficient for everyday tasks and the case and display are decent, the price is too high and there is no keyboard illumination.
