The i5-1340P Slim i7 is now available for US$1,180 with 16 GB LPDDR5-5200 RAM and 1 TB NVMe SSD, while the i7-1360P model with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD is priced at US$1,602. Both feature 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and the new touchscreen option with 2880 x 1800 and 120 Hz.

The 2023 Slim 7i ultrabooks have recently popped up on Lenovo’s online store with Intel Raptor Lake-P and Alder Lake-P processor options. Besides the existing 180-degree FHD+ OLED and 1400p IPS display options, the 14-inch models now feature a 2880 x 1800 LCD touchscreen with 120 Hz refresh rate.

Processor options include last year’s i5-1240P and i7-1260P models, as well as the new i5-1340P and i7-1360P. Due to the slim chassis with 0.6-inch profile, the RAM capacity is not upgradeable. There are 8 Gb or 16 GB versions, and the Alder Lake-P processor get the slightly slower LPDDR5-4800, while the latest models are complemented by LPDDR5-5200 modules. The storage side can be populated with either 512 GB or 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NMVe SSDs.

Port selection is somewhat minimalistic, with 2x Thunderbolt 4,1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, an HDMI 2.1 video output and an audio combo jack. Given the slim design, Internet connectivity is only offered through a Wi-Fi 6E + BT 5.1 card. The FHD webcam integrates biometric security via the IR sensor and comes with a privacy shutter as well. These models benefit from a 65 Wh battery which brings the total weight to 1.31 kg (2.9 lbs).

For now, only the Raptor Lake-P models with touchscreen are available. The i5-1340P one features 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB storage for US$1,180, whereas the i7-1360P comes with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage for US$1,602. Lenovo mentioned that the Alder Lake-P models will only feature 8 GB of RAM, with prices starting at US$730.
