Lenovo announces 14-inch Yoga Slim 6 ultrabook with AMD Ryzen 7000U processors and USB4 connector
Lenovo’s 2023 Yoga ultrabook lineup includes the Slim 6 14-inch model powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen-U Zen 4 mobile processors. Highlights for the Slim 6 include an OLED screen option, an 180° hinge and a high-speed USB4 connector.
The Slim 6 models feature a choice between AMD’s Ryzen 7 7840U and Ryzen 5 7540U processors with 28 W TDP and fast RDNA 3-based integrated graphics. These can be coupled with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 dual channel RAM and up to 1 TB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
For the 14-inch display, Lenovo is offering three panel options:
- 2.8K (2880x1880) 120Hz LCD IPS with 400 nit brightness, 100% sRGB color gamut, Dolby Vision support, low blue light certification and matte finish
- 2.2K (2240x1400) 60Hz LCD IPS with 300 nit brightness, 100% sRGB color gamut , Dolby Vision, TÜV Rheinland low blue light and matte finish
- FHD+ (1920x1200) 60Hz OLED with 400 nit brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, Dolby Vision, low blue light and matte finish
Port selection includes 1x USB4 connector with power delivery and DP 1.4 modes, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI 2.1 video out plus audio combo jack. Wireless connectivity is ensured with a Wi-Fi 6/E + BT 5.1 card. The audio system features 2x 2 W Dolby Atmos speakers, while the online communication side integrates an FHD webcam with IR sensor, camera shutter and dual array microphones. The chassis comes in Storm Grey and Misty Grey color options and has a 14.9 mm (0.59-inch) profile, as the entire device weighs 1.31 kg (2.88 lbs).
Availability for the latest Slim 6 ultrabook is schedule for June 2023, with prices starting at €899.
