Samsung wrapped its latest Galaxy Unpacked show up with the latest generation of its Galaxy Buds. They offer many of the features found in their immediate Pro predecessors, as well as up to 20 hours of battery life and new colors. However, they also start for less than these high-end TWS peripherals.

HP has unveiled the Chromebook x2 11, a new tablet running Chrome OS. The device has a 3:2 and 1,440p display, a Snapdragon 7c SoC and 8 GB of RAM. Supposedly, the Chromebook x2 11 will last up to 11 hours between charges, too.

Cable Matters' latest USB type-C dongle is rated to connect an up-to-Thunderbolt 4/USB4 PC to an 8K monitor via HDMI 2.1. It has 2 variants: one with a DisplayPort and an 8K-capable HDMI port, and another with dual HDMIs for 1 8K monitor or 2 at 4K. Therefore, the OEM touts its new portable accessory as ideal for both remote work and gaming.

After releasing the Mi Pad 4 way back in 2018, Xiaomi has returned with new entries in its Mi Pad series. The new phones, the Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro, were just launched in China and offer Snapdragon 800-series chipsets as well as 2.5K 120 Hz displays, with the lineup starting at the equivalent of just over US$300.

MediaTek has announced the launch of the Kompanio 1300T SoC for high-end tablets. The Kompanio 1300T is a 6 nm part that resembles the Dimensity 1200 SoC in quite a few specifications. Additionally, the company also announced the T750 5G CPE chipset for use in equipment such as routers and access points.

MediaTek is now rumored to have a new 5G Dimensity chipset ready to go. More detailed specs for this putative 1300T are now allegedly out there, including a 6 nanometer (nm) architecture and an ARM Cortex-A78 core, a combination that might easily rival Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 SoC, if not the newer 870. It is slated to launch tomorrow (July 26, 2021).
