The Realme Pad Mini is coming. Reports from a few weeks ago provided a first look at what to expect from the budget tablet, and Realme has now finally teased the device, while also hinting at an imminent launch.
"Mini is powerful," the teaser reads. "Launching first in the PH. Realme Pad Mini coming soon." Evidently, Realme is set to launch the Realme Pad Mini in the Philippines first, likely before bringing it to India and Western markets.
While the teaser tries to raise hype for the Realme Pad Mini's performance, all available information so far leans towards the tablet being powered by the Unisoc Tiger 616, a 12 nm chipset offering performance similar to the Snapdragon 665. The Realme Pad features a MediaTek Helio G80 which, going by our benchmark database, doesn't appear to be considerably more powerful—if at all.
In addition to that SoC, the Realme Pad Mini is expected to sport an 8.7-inch display, 8 MP rear camera, 5 MP selfie camera, 6400 mAh battery, and 18 W charging. Pretty solid, all considered. It can also be expected to be cheaper than the Php 10,990 Realme Pad.
