ASUS has shared the first images of a new graphics card produced in partnership with Noctua. The RTX 3070 Noctua should not only run quietly but also coolly thanks to a huge heatsink. The card's design may take gamers some getting used to, mind you.

With the Omen series, HP has been offering visually attractive gaming laptops that are also interesting in terms of their price-performance ratio. Now, the manufacturer introduces a new gaming series to the market with the Victus laptops.

Honor has made good on some earlier teasers with a launch for the new MagicBook 16 series, with an up-to-date Ryzen 7 platform and 144Hz displays. The prices of current AMD and NVIDIA desktop graphics cards are continuing to move away from MSRP, having bottomed out in July. Both the RX 6000 and RTX 30 series are now selling for around 1.7x MSRP, with second-hand prices remaining at inflated levels, too.

The upcoming AMD RDNA 3 Navi 31-based RX 7900 XT will be based on a 5 nm + 6 nm MCM and could use a 256-bit memory bus but stick to GDDR5 VRAM. Navi 33 (RX 7700 XT) will be a 6 nm monolithic die with 128-bit GDDR6 VRAM and offer more performance than the current RX 6900 XT. Xiaomi is set to release a second-gen product in its Redmi G gaming laptop series. The Redmi G (2021) will launch on September 22 and the company has now revealed some details of the laptop's cooling hardware and display via a series of teasers.

During Zenimax’s Elder Scrolls Online update livestream, the company revealed that ESO will be the first game to feature NVIDIA’s upcoming DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing) technology: this essentially leverages DLSS technology to boost image quality without the latter’s upscaling component.

NVIDIA has repurposed its GA104 GPUs for the GeForce RTX 3060, a card that it launched on the GA106. These graphics cards will have nearly half their GPUs disabled to meet the RTX 3060's specifications.

The MSI Katana GF66 is a gaming laptop of the upper mid-range to lower high-end. We were able to test a configuration with an Intel Core i7 and Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070 and found out that MSI still left considerable room for improvement here.

Gaming laptops are powerful, but they're often loud, hot, power-hungry, and not very portable. Multimedia laptops frequently lack the necessary performance for demanding games. The ThinkBook 16p attempts to strike a balance, and it doesn't do a bad job - but you have to accept compromises here as well.

Thanks to the combination of the AMD Ryzen 7 CPU and the very powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, Lenovo's Legion 5 15 offers plenty of performance. Gamers will also appreciate the responsive 165 Hz display and multi-zone keyboard illumination, but there are no additional gaming features.

The NVIDIA RTX 3080 and RTX 3080 Ti are some of the most expensive graphics cards on the market right now, even if they are perennially out of stock. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees that your graphics card will be built correctly, as some people recently discovered with their Founders Edition and custom cards.

Users will have to deal with noticeably higher core temperatures of about 15 degrees C if they want the much lighter Maingear model over the Razer model.

A leaked Intel slide indicates that the company's upcoming DG2 Arc Alchemist GPU could be targeting the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 and AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT at the high end at the US$500 mark while looking to compete with the GTX 1650 Super at the low end in the US$100-199 bracket. High-end laptops are often exciting, innovative, and high-quality. However, not many users are willing to spend several thousand Euros for a laptop. This makes upper mid-range laptops like the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro 16ACH interesting. It makes the Ryzen 5000 series and a great high-resolution 16:10 LCD with 120 Hz available to the masses.

Intel has silently pushed the NUC X15 Laptop Kit out the door, its first reference gaming laptop. The NUC X15 has Tiger Lake processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs and up to a 240 Hz display.

Besides the high-end Aero models, Gigabyte also offers budget gaming laptops. One of them is the G5 KC, which scores points with good performance and a low price.

The RTX 3050 is ultimately a budget graphics card meaning users shouldn't be paying anything more than budget prices. For $700 USD, the Dell G15 is a decent alternative to older GTX 1650 or GTX 1660 Ti laptops.

Even though the INF files do not mention most of the GTX 700 Kepler cards anymore, this version still supports the old GK100 functions and runtimes are still compatible with SM 3.x. Additionally, the preview version integrates new next gen runtime compilers that may end up used by the upcoming RTX 4000 cards.
