Rumours about NVIDIA releasing new versions of the RTX 2060, RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 emerged a while ago, with an RTX 3090 Ti also in the pipeline. Now, @hongxing2020 has laid out release dates for three of those four cards, which are all due before the end of the year. Availability of existing SKUs will probably remain scarce though, unfortunately.
Supposedly, NVIDIA plans to re-release the RTX 2060 first. Based on previous rumours, the revived card has 12 GB of VRAM, doubling its predecessor's capacity. The 12 GB variant will arrive with a PG161 board and a revised TU106-300 GPU, although only VRAM will separate the new RTX 2060 from previous models.
@hongxing2020 states that the RTX 2060 12 GB will be available from December 7, 10 days before the launch of the RTX 3070 Ti 16 GB and RTX 3080 12 GB. Presumably, NVIDIA will unveil the RTX 2060 12 GB later this month, even if with just a press release. By contrast, the RTX 3070 Ti 16 GB and RTX 3080 12 GB will not reach shelves until January 11, 2022.
Prices for the trio remain unknown at this stage. However, prices of current cards are nowhere near MSRP, so we would wait for board partners to reveal their prices, rather than relying on NVIDIA's suggested prices.
