Updates for all: EMUI 10.1 roadmap published with over 30 eligible devices

Launched alongside the P40 series, Huawei has announced plans to upgrade over 30 devices to EMUI 10.1. While still based on Android 10, EMUI 10.1 refines upon EMUI 10 in many areas, including smoother animations, along with multi-window, multi-device control panel and multi-screen collaboration improvements. EMUI 10.1 introduces MeeTime too, Huawei's answer to FaceTime. Even an AI assistant is onboard, with Celia likely replacing Google Assistant as the default digital assistant.

"Fixed" Android 10 update arriving very soon for the Mi A2 Lite, but there is a caveat

The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite may be on the verge of receiving a new Android 10 update. Apparently also including the March security patch update, the update will redress the bugs that the first Android 10 update introduced to the device. Due "very soon", we would not recommend upgrading straightaway when it arrives, though.

SD 865-powered OnePlus 8 Pro placed 22nd in AI-Benchmark results behind the Xiaomi Mi 10, Galaxy S20, and Oppo Find X2, Kirin 990-based phones top the chart

The OnePlus 8 Pro gets featured on the AI Benchmark leaderboard but seems to have mustered a rather mediocre score in the benchmark when compared to other flagship phones powered by the Snapdragon 865 and even some of the Kirin 810-powered phones. Leading the pack is the Kirin 990 5G in the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, which is indicative of Huawei's prowess in NPU design.
