MIUI 12 Global Stable beta pilot testers published; Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 8 Pro and Poco F1 eligible for Round 2 updates with Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Note 7S dropped
Xiaomi is moving swiftly with its preparations for Round 2 of its MIUI 12 release schedule. It has only been just over a week since Xiaomi started accepting applications for Global Stable beta pilot testers, and now the company has confirmed who will be testing these initial MIUI 12 beta updates. Xiaomi has already contacted those who have been selected as pilot testers, but you can view the list here.
According to a blog post, the Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 8 Pro and Pocophone F1 have been selected for the start of Round 2 MIUI 12 Global Beta stable testing. It seems that Xiaomi dropped the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Note 7S from the list of eligible devices, for some reason.
With that said, Xiaomi is not tying itself to a timescale for releasing these Global Stable beta builds to pilot testers. The same applies to the date by which it will commence Round 2 of its release schedule. The company has confirmed that it will seek more pilot testers at some point, but it has not offered a date for this either.
