Huawei has been slowly rolling out the latest version of its OS to the Mate 20 series, and now it has announced plans for it to release EMUI 9.1 to a slew of other Huawei and Honor smartphones too. The list is extensive and stretches as far back as former flagships like the Mate 9.

Huawei recently confirmed that the Mate X launch is still scheduled for June and the Chinese company could become the first ever to release a foldable smartphone. Samsung still has no ETA for the Galaxy Fold after it delayed the launch, meaning that Huawei has a fair chance to pull ahead by delivering a more affordable and overall sturdier design.

The Red Magic Mars is probably what Nubia's 2019 gaming phone will be called. It is already linked to the Snapdragon 855 and an improved battery capacity. Today (April 23, 2019), Roland Quandt has posted a new rumor that this upcoming device will have a cutting-edge 90Hz screen.

Qualcomm and Swisscom have announced the implementation of Europe's first commercial 5G service. These telecommunication and technology corporations had set up a partnership to deliver this next-generation mobile data standard in Switzerland. This will also now enable other firms who operate in the same country to offer 5G products and hardware.
