The OnePlus 7 lineup of high-end smartphone models is set to be officially revealed this May, but it looks like most of the specs have already been leaked by insiders like Max J. on Twitter. The latest leak allegedly confirms the existence of a regular version along with Pro and Pro 5G ones.
Obviously, the Pro versions have superior specs and, as the naming scheme is suggesting, the only difference between them is the inclusion of a 5G modem. Otherwise, both are supposed to integrate a “revolutionary” 6.7-inch display with 3,120 x 1,440 resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. There is also a fingerprint scanner under the display. Powering the two Pro models is the Snapdragon 855 SoC and the leak suggests there will be 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8/12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage options. It is important to note here that the storage memory uses the new UFS 3.0 standard for increased read/write speeds.
On the back of the Pro versions there is a triple-cam setup consisting of a main 48 MP sensor with f/1.6 and OIS + EIS, an 8 MP 3x Zoom shooter with f/2.4, plus a 117-degree wide angle cam with 16 MP sensor and f/2.0. The pop-up camera on top is said to come with a 16 MP sensor. With a display that large, a 30 W 4,000 mAh battery is clearly a must, and these models will come with Warp Charge, as well. OnePlus will provide blue, grey and brown color options.
As for the non-Pro version, it will include a smaller 6.4-inch display with 2,340 x 1,080 resolution and it is unclear if the in-display fingerprint senor will be added to this version, as well. Moreover, the 90 Hz refresh rate is not supported on the regular OnePlus 7 version. While the Snapdragon 855 SoC is still included, there will only 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage options. The back gets only two cameras: the 48 MP main one and a 5 MP depth sensor. A smaller 3,700 mAh battery is provided, but it does come with 20 W fast charging.
Lastly, the leak informs that all OnePlus 7 versions will be shipping with the new Bullets Wireless 2 in-ear headphones.
