By now, the long-rumored, novel Pro variant of the OnePlus 7 line has been officially confirmed by its maker. It will launch on May 14, 2019, alongside its base 7 counterpart and a probable 5G version. The 7 Pro is expected to come with a range of new or enhanced features such as the Snapdragon 855 processor, a screen that refreshes at 90 hertz and a pop-up selfie camera to obviate a display notch. A well-known tipster has alleged that it will also have the pricing structure to match these specs.
Ishan Agarwal - one of a number of leakers that has been potentially spoiling the OnePlus 7 launch event for some time now - has posted another tweet on the subject of the 7 Pro. This time, Agarwal claims to have access to this upcoming phone's line-up of RAM/storage configurations and their corresponding retail costs in Europe.
Those familiar with OnePlus' releases over the last few years may not be surprised that the tweet details 6/128GB and 8/256GB SKUs. They will apparently be joined by a 12/256GB option for this year, which is allegedly priced at "€ 819/829" (US$916-28), whereas the 8GB model will be "€ 749/759" (US$838-46).
It is not clear what the €10 variations mean, although they could depend on the color (Mirror Grey, Almond or Nebula Blue, according to Agarwal) chosen, or a slight shift across different European countries. However, even if this rumor is real, the same phone may end up priced differently in other markets in any case.
