It is all but common knowledge that OnePlus will release a new phone with the model name 7 Pro (a suffix that is apparently going to be big this year) on May 14, 2019. While other details on the phone are less set in stone, it is thought that it will have a Vivo-esque pop-up selfie camera so as to make its bezels constant around the screen. A site called IndiaShopps claims to have images that confirm this state of affairs.
The images show a hand holding a device with a screen that exhibits an edge-to-edge form factor and what could be OnePlus' skin for Android, OxygenOS. There is a power button on the phone's left edge, and what are probably volume buttons on the right.
However, fans of this OEM's hardware may notice that it may be missing a third piece of hardware that has resided on the sides of OnePlus devices for 4 generations now: the Alert Slider. This physical audio-profile-switcher has been received warmly by reviewers for years; therefore, it is unlikely that OnePlus has dropped it this year.
Furthermore, IndiaShopps' photos actually closely resemble another phone: the OPPO Reno, which has been released already. These supposed hands-on leaks match the Reno seen in at least 1 equally real-life review - in fact, so does the last "OnePlus 7 Pro" photo that found its way online. Therefore, there are still no guarantees as to the upcoming flagship's appearance just yet.
