OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition revealed in all its glory

OnePlus has shown off the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition smartphone in all its glory, and it will certainly attract fans of the popular comic-book series. The phone comes in a Kevlar finish that gives it a rugged look, and it has a reflective gold-colored Avengers logo on the rear and a gold-accented mute button. The whole device is covered in Gorilla Glass 5, making it ideal for an Avenger who likes to indulge in the occasional smash.

The phone’s main specifications include a Snapdragon 845 processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB storage, and a 16 MP/20 MP dual-camera setup. OnePlus is advertising the Marvel Avengers Limited Edition version for 4,199 yuan (~US$659) on the company’s Chinese website and 44,999 rupees (~$US663) on the Indian website. The regular flagship phone with the same amount of RAM and storage should be available for US$629, so it seems it costs around US$30 to upgrade to Avengers membership.

A protective phone cover with an Iron Man design is also included in the box, as is a special Avengers “medal”. Apparently, by combining six of these random different medals together you can create an elusive Infinity Medal, although this will not necessarily bestow the recipient with celestial powers. OnePlus has not yet revealed if the limited edition phone will be made available in other markets.
