The Red Magic Mars is probably what Nubia's 2019 gaming phone will be called. It is already linked to the Snapdragon 855 and an improved battery capacity. Today (April 23, 2019), Roland Quandt has posted a new rumor that this upcoming device will have a cutting-edge 90Hz screen.

A screen with an enhanced, 90-hertz (Hz) refresh rate is definitely emerging as the new everything for mid- to late-2019 smartphone releases. It may bring a more effective gaming experience to these devices, in addition to other potential user benefits. Therefore, it may also be an almost obligatory selling point for phones such as the Red Magic 3.

This phone is projected to be the next in a line that competes well with others such as the Xiaomi Black Sharks or Razer Phones of this world. The eminent tipster Roland Quandt has just claimed to have found a screenshot from this upcoming device that pertains to its screen refresh rate. It suggests that the third-gen Red Magic will have settings for both 90 and 60Hz. Presumably, the former can be enacted for gaming sessions, although it may use more battery while it is active.

Quandt now has another interesting putative detail on the Red Magic 3: it will apparently have a physical fan. This is a departure from the miniature heat-pipes or -sinks often found in up-to-date gaming phones. It seems that this fan will actually be audible while the device operates, much like the relevant optional accessory made for the pre-existing ASUS ROG phone.
