Nubia's Red Magic 3 reportedly breaks AnTuTu ratings with 437,000+ score
The Nubia Red Magic line has drawn attention with its design language that is angle- and RGB-laden even for a gaming phone. Its new iteration for 2019 may be called the Red Magic 3, as opposed to the fancier Mars tag of last year's version. This third generation may have just topped the AnTuTu benchmark rankings.
A Weibo user has posted a screenshot that looks convincingly like an applicable result for this phone, at least. It is for a Nubia device with the model number NX629J. It is associated with a total score of 437,524 in the test, which is comprised of just over 217,000 in GPU scores; 121,000 in CPU terms; about 82,000 in UX and over 16,000 in the memory test. For context, AnTuTu's current official rankings put the Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent Edition at #1 with 372,072 points.
However, the image does not contain any more identifying characteristics about the 'NX629J'. Luckily, the Weibo leaker has provided us with a second benchmark score-page; this time for the Master Lu test. Here, this phone is apparently powered by the Snapdragon 855 (or msmnile, as it sometimes appears on benchmarks), has 8GB of RAM and what may be 128GB in internal storage.
It did comparably well in terms of scores in this test, posting 470,574 in total. Therefore, if these scores are real, and the phone in question really is the Red Magic 3, fans of this gamer-phone series should have fun running intensive titles on the device.
