AnTuTu releases its first score for the OPPO Reno 10X Zoom Edition
AnTuTu has taken to Weibo to present the first benchmark score derived from the newly-released OPPO Reno line. It is associated with the '10X Zoom' variant, which has a Snapdragon 855 processor and 6GB of RAM. This alleged super-camera-phone has returned a result of 369254, which is just about what is expected of its flagship SoC.
OPPO has just released its new brand, Reno. Its current flagship is a device with a Snapdragon (SD) 855 processor, a screen with a 90%+ screen-to-body ratio, an innovative 'shark-fin' pop-up selfie camera and a 10X hybrid zoom module on the back. This impressive-sounding device has reportedly been taken in by the AnTuTu benchmarking authority for testing.
Unfortunately, this body sounded less than whelmed with this device when reporting these results on Weibo. It announced that the OPPO Reno 10X Zoom Edition had scored 369254 in its test. This number was, in AnTuTu's own translated words, "not excellent"; however, it is also well within the expectations of an SD855 device.
In addition, the SKU of the 10x-zoom Reno in question had only 6GB of RAM, whereas an 8GB variant of the same phone is also available. Therefore, this story may acquire a significant twist when this model makes it through the same benchmark.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
