5000 mAh battery and other powerful hardware should help the Nubia Red Magic 3 wipe the floor with the Red Magic Mars
A smartphone that could end up being the Nubia Red Magic 3 has just received its 3C certification (CCC - China Compulsory Certificate). Information from the CCC website, along with details deliberately leaked by Nubia’s general manager Ni Fei and results from the Chinese Master Lu benchmark have helped paint a picture of a gaming smartphone that will leave the Red Magic Mars trailing behind in the dust.
The CCC information shows that the device will come with 30 W fast-charging capability, which will be handy considering there is apparently at least a 5000 mAh battery to charge. The Nubia Red Magic 3 is also expected to come in 8 GB and 12 GB variants, sport a Snapdragon 855 SoC, and it may even offer an FHD+ display that delivers a 1080x2340 resolution. The Master Lu benchmark reports a total score of 406,129 points for the 8 GB variant of the NX629J, which is a very good result.
If that’s not enough to tempt, then the Red Magic 3 will also have liquid cooling and a turbo fan, a screen with a “high refresh rate” (possibly 120 Hz), and a 4D vibration motor for enhanced gaming enjoyment. In contrast, the Nubia Red Magic Mars smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 845, up to 10 GB RAM, and “only” a 3800 mAh battery. Nubia is a wholly owned subsidiary of ZTE; the Red Magic 3 could see the light of day in April.
