MiLi wants to make any table into a wireless charging accessory
MiLi is a company that integrates its Furniture Mate wireless-charging pad into any table-top. It aims this product at those in the service industry and also to those who want decor that can charge an increasing number of phones at home. MiLi also makes the Table Mate, a similar pad that can be attached to nearly any table.
The Table Mate is a wireless charging station made of a transmitting base that can be attached to the underside of any non-metallic surface, and a corresponding circular pad that goes immediately over it. This, therefore, could transform nearly any table into a charging station for phones such as the Huawei P30 Pro.
Its maker claims that this arrangement can deliver wireless charging at 5 watts (W), and works with a surface depth of up to 35 millimeters. The charging pad, which apparently integrates magnetic-resonating technology, also works within 6mm of the phone. This allows the user to keep a case on their phone while charging on the Table Mate.
The same specs hold true for Furniture Mate, a second MiLi product. It involves a USB-to wireless charging module that can be built into custom-made table-tops to give them 2 or 3 charging stations per long end. MiLi envisions that this concept will be in demand for those setting up cafes, bars or their own homes.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
