The Red Magic 3 is the first gaming phone to feature a physical fan. This stand-out Snapdragon 855 is set to be available to order in China from today (May 3, 2019). GizTop now also offers the possibility of ordering a truncated range of variants from outside this region. It starts by asking US$539 for a 6GB/64GB SKU.

As promised by Nubia during its launch for the Red Magic 3, this new gaming phone goes on sale today (May 3, 2019). This device is a potential world-first in that it has an actual fan to cool its Snapdragon 855 processor. The component even has little corresponding air-fins under its main camera module. Otherwise, the device conforms strongly to the established Red Magic esthetic, LED racing-stripe and all.

Nubia had stated that the device would start at the equivalent of about US$430 for the Red Magic 3's base-model, a 6GB RAM SKU with 64GB of internal storage. However, the first international pre-orders to manifest for the device, courtesy of GizTop, put the final price of this variant at $539. The store also lacks the 12GB top-end SKU of this phone; adding 128GB to the entry-level choice's storage costs an extra $60 on this site, whereas increasing the RAM thereafter to 8GB is an additional $110.

It is possible that the Nubia brand's own international sales portal may eventually stock the full complement of the '3's configurations. In addition, it may offer all of the 2019 release's color options, including the novel red-blue gradient. Unfortunately, the most recent offering on this site is the Red Magic Mars (at the present time).
