Huawei has announced that it will release EMUI 9.1 to 49 devices over the coming months. EMUI 9.1 is the latest version of the Chinese manufacturer's customised version of Android, which it bases on Android 9.0 Pie. EMUI 9.1 introduces numerous new features over EMUI 9.0 including GPU Turbo 3.0, HiVoice improvements, and simplified settings to name but a few.
Until now, Huawei has kept EMUI 9.1 exclusive to recent flagships like the Mate 20 and P30 series, but that is set to change with a wider release that includes many Honor smartphones too.
