A leaked image on Reddit has revealed Huawei's supposed update roadmap for Android Q. Last-gen phones like the P20 Pro and Mate 10 Pro are billed to get the update, but devices in the Nova 4 and Nova 5 range are suspiciously missing.

Huawei's fate with Android was undecided for a while but that looks to have been mostly sorted out at this point. During the peak of the fiasco, the company reiterated its commitment to provide Android Q to its current-gen flagships devices, and it appears that it will now go one step further.

Going by a post on Reddit yesterday, Huawei will send out the Android Q update to a number of its devices. The leaked roadmap can not be considered official but the devices on the list are sensible. The P30, P30 Pro, Mate 20, and Mate 20 Pro, and Porsche Design Mate 20 RS are the first names on the list. That's about expected.

They're joined by newer mid-range phones like the P Smart (2019), P Smart+ (2019), P30 Lite, and P Smart Z. The Mate 20 X, Mate 20 X (5G), P20, P20 Pro, Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Porsche Design Mate 10, and Mate 20 Lite complete the list. Notable exclusions on the list include the Nova 4 and the new Nova 5 phones.

Huawei generally provides two major updates to its flagships, and it's nice to see the company adhere to that policy in spite of the recent stumbling blocks it has faced.
