The official unveiling of EMUI 10 is just around the corner, with Huawei expecting to showcase its Android Q-based OS on August 9 at its 2019 Developer Conference in Dongguan City, China. While it may come as no surprise that EMUI 10 will include new features and changes compared to EMUI 9.1, an early beta build for the P30 Pro suggested otherwise. The build, which intrepid people could flash to their device, looked and operated much like EMUI 9.1 with a few minor changes, but several promotional images leaked on Weibo hint that Huawei has made a much larger break from EMUI 9.1 for EMUI 10.
According to Huawei Central, EMUI 10 will introduce the following changes:
- New UI elements and effects; GUI redesign
- Enhanced video ringtones
- New themes, wallpapers and fonts customisation options
- Various system animation, video playback and Games optimisations
- Expanded file management
