Honor's latest phone, the 20i, has been launched in China. This phone has a 32MP front-facing camera in its U-shaped notch. In addition, the new phone has a 6.21-inch IPS-LCD full-HD screen, triple rear cameras and the Kirin 710 processor. Its prices start at 1,599 RMB (about US$238) for a 4GB SKU.

Honor has launched a new phone in China with an impressive 32MP front-facing camera for the selfie-centric consumer. It is called the 20i, although it may be rebranded the Honor 20 Lite in other markets. This phone comes with one of the company's absorbing 3D light-splitting glass backs, which are available in Black, Gradient Blue or Gradient Red.

The phone's internals may be slightly less prepossessing, however: Honor has gone with HiSilicon's decidedly mid-range Kirin 710 SoC for this new device. It also has a 6.21-in HD+ display with a drop-shaped notch.  The Honor 20i's rear cameras are 2019 enough however: they are made up of a 24 MP, 8 MP and 2 MP sensors. The battery is a decent 4,000mAh battery; however, Honor drags it backward a bit with a microUSB port.

This fresh release has 4 and 6GB RAM variants. Oddly, two of these are priced the same: 1,599 RMB (or about US$238). For this price, the buyer can choose between a 4GB model with 128GB storage, or a 6GB SKU with 64GB of the same. A 6/128 GB variant goes for 1,899 Yuan (~$283), whereas maxing the storage to 256 GB storage costs a total of 2,199 Yuan (~$328). The Honor 20i is available from outlets such as the brand's own online mall now.
