A Huawei device with the model number YAL-L21 has arrived on Geekbench. As it rocks the Kirin 980 processor, it is possible that this phone is the Honor 20 or 20 Pro. The phone has 6GB of RAM, which is consistent with the middle-road Honor 10 SKUs of last year.

A Huawei phone with the model number YAL-L21 has appeared on Geekbench. As this number tracks well with the code-name Yale, it is believed that it is the Honor 20. The phone is powered by an 1.8GHz processor that coul indeed be the Kirin 980.

The 'Honor 20' has in fact amassed 2 separate Geekbench 4 database listings by now. It has scored approximately 3200 in single-core tests and about 9700 in multi-core tests. This may be compatible with the expectations of the Kirin 980 thus far.

YAL-L21 - which has appeared in a Kirin 980-related leak before - exhibits 6GB of RAM in both listings, in addition to Android 9 as an operating system. It is not clear, however, if this could be the base model of the Honor 20 as yet. Its predecessor had SKUs with 4 or 6GB - or 8GB, if you count the Honor 10 GT. However, as the upcoming 2019 flagship also has a Pro variant this year, this is not likely to be repeated.
